This policy explains how Nakia's Towing (“we”, “us”) handles information you share through this website. If you call us instead, we use what you tell us the same way: to help you.

What we collect

When you send a service request

  • Your name and phone number, so we can call you back.
  • Where you are — the address, cross streets or landmark you type in.
  • Your GPS location, only if you tap “Use my location” and allow it in your browser. We never collect your location without that tap.
  • The service you need and any details you add about your vehicle or situation.

We save each request in a secure database so it can't get lost, and send it to our driver by text message and phone notification so we can respond right away.

When you leave a review

  • Your name, star rating and review, and the service you used if you choose one.
  • A photo, only if you add one. It's shrunk to a small square on your device before it's sent, and we re-save it without its hidden details (such as where the photo was taken).

New reviews are checked for spam before they appear. Once approved, we show your review with your first name, last initial and photo (or your initials). We never show your full name.

Automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type. We also use your IP address and phone number briefly to limit repeated requests and block spam.

Spam protection

To keep robots from sending fake requests and reviews, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile. It looks at technical details about your browser and device, usually without you having to do anything. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy, at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Maps and outside links

Our contact section shows an embedded Google Map, and some links go to Google Maps, Google reviews and Yelp. Those services have their own privacy policies.

How we use it

  • To respond to your request, send help and call you back.
  • To show your review on this website, if you leave one.
  • To keep the website working, secure and free of spam.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that help us run this website and respond to you, such as our hosting company, database provider, and the text-message and email services that deliver your request to us.
  • People involved in the job you asked for, when needed — for example, police or your insurance company at an accident scene.
  • Anyone we're required to share it with by law.

How long we keep it

We keep service requests only as long as we need them to help you and for our normal business records. Requests sent through this website are deleted from our request system automatically one year after they're sent. Copies we receive by text or email may be kept longer as part of our business records.

Reviews that are never approved are deleted automatically after 90 days. Approved reviews stay on the website until you ask us to take yours down, or we remove it.

Your choices

  • You can always call us instead of using the online form.
  • You can leave out your GPS location and type your location instead.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to delete it.
  • You can ask us to take down your review or its photo at any time.

Children

This website isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date above.
